Thermos-wagon is an indispensable tool for exporting products

We can say with confidence that in recent years the economy of our state, which is developing in comparison with other countries, has overcome new stages of development, creating effective reforms in the context of the global crisis. Undoubtedly, the driving force of the country's economy is the production of competitive export goods in the world. One of the most pressing issues is the timely and timely transportation of domestic manufacturers' products abroad without compromising their quality.

The transfer should increase

The largest market for Kazakhstan is the countries included in the Eurasian Economic Zone. Unfortunately, we see that the coronavirus pandemic has given us a little bit of a cold snap. According to the Statistics Committee, in January-July of this year, Kazakhstan's mutual trade with the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union amounted to $ 10,401.2 million. This figure is 11.1% less than in the same period last year. Including exports – 2847.4 million US dollars (decreased by 19.4%), imports – 7553.8 million US dollars (decreased by 7.5%). The country's foreign trade turnover is 92.4% – to the Russian Federation, 4.0% – to Kyrgyzstan, 3.5% – to Belarus, 0.1% – to Armenia. The North Kazakhstan region also closely cooperates with Russia, Kyrgyzstan, and Belarus. The opening of stores in neighboring regions by the local executive body in Russia, of course, also allowed to increase the volume of exports of domestic products sold in hand. As a result, nine outlets of the Kazmarket chain of stores are operating, where products are sold only of Kazakhstani production. It is worth noting that local producers have signed twenty purchase and sale agreements with a neighboring country. Among them are Kazmyasoprodukt LLP, Dairy Union, Asiona, Sergeyevskaya Dairy Products and others. As a result of such measures, it was possible to increase export volumes 6 times over the past five years. According to statistics published on the official website of the regional akimat, in January-July of this year, the foreign trade turnover of the North Kazakhstan region, taking into account mutual trade with the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, amounted to 424.5 million US dollars. Of these, $ 295.5 million. the volume of exports for the reporting period amounted to $ 119.0 million. US$, which is 8.9% less than in the same period last year. Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, China, Belgium, Turkey, Poland are the leaders among the main export partners. Increasing the volume of exports is one of the main tasks facing the economic development of the country and the region.

Shortage of vehicles

In recent years, the country has established food exports to a number of countries, such as Russia and China. As a rule, it is difficult to deliver perishable agricultural products abroad, such as milk, meat, fish, vegetables. According to the deputy head of the regional Department of Entrepreneurship and Industrial and Innovative Development Nurzhan Sadykov, thermos wagons necessary for the uninterrupted supply of these products are not produced in Kazakhstan. – According to experts, there is a shortage of wagons in the field of freight transportation. In order for the companies engaged in transportation in the country to work smoothly, there should be more than 10-20 thousand cars," Nurzhan Sadykov said. Today, there is a growing demand for insulated wagons that can maintain the necessary temperature for ten days, where the temperature necessary for the delivery of perishable products to their destination is maintained. Currently, 90% of insulated wagons in the CIS are worn out. There are few companies that are engaged in the modernization of wagons. Therefore, last year, Petropavlovsk Heavy Machinery Plant JSC, within the framework of cooperation with the Russian-Kazakh joint venture Cool infinity, started the production of new insulated wagons for the transportation of perishable products, such as meat, fish and vegetables, in demand on the market. To implement a new project for the production of insulated wagons model 16-1807-04 for a total of 4,470 million US dollars. invested in tenge. The export share of the project is 80%. Before starting work, the management of the plant turned to representatives of local companies that supply perishable food.

Meets all requirements

After the signing of the bilateral agreement, preparatory work for the development of the thermos wagons project was carried out for two months. At the same time, the workshop, which had been empty for twenty years, was restored and 50 new jobs were created. Qualified specialists who have mastered new technologies have prepared the frame of the car in part of the workshop with a total area of 30 thousand square meters. meters. And in the second part of the workshop, parts were assembled. After that, the inside of the cars were lined with polystyrene and polyurethane materials. This, in turn, increases the isothermal properties of the car. In order to ensure the impermeability of the air inside, it is necessary to approach the manufacture of doors with great care and responsibility. That is, heat or cold should not get inside the vehicle. It's important not to go outside. This is because it is not an ordinary wagon, but a means of transporting perishable products such as meat, fish, vegetables, fruits. Last year, strictly observing all these requirements, the plant produced the first isothermal thermos wagons. Soon the first two samples passed factory tests. In particular, the operation of the braking system of the new cars, the coefficient of thermal conductivity and other parameters were checked. After that, the products were sent for mobile testing, and their successful completion was confirmed by the conclusion of the testing center of the Russian Federation. The first novelties of the local company have already been sent to the neighboring Russian Federation. At the plant of JSC "NC" Kazakhstan Temir Zholy " testing was conducted with the participation of the qualification commission. According to the results of the tests, Petropavlovsk Heavy Machinery Plant JSC received a certificate for the production of 1200 pieces of wagons in accordance with the requirements of the Eurasian Economic Union. At the beginning of August, at a meeting of the expert group of the Russian wagon industry in Moscow, the certificate of the plant was confirmed, the model of the enterprise was included in the reference book "samples of trucks" of the Federal Agency for Railways road transport of the Russian Federation as a manufacturer of insulated thermos wagons. In addition, the company received a certificate on the production of insulated wagons of the form "CT-KZ". Specialists from the Russian city of Troitsk arrived to get acquainted with the production technology of wagons. The Commission stressed that the finished product is perfect and gave a high assessment.

In demand in Russia

As a result of such large-scale work, it is planned to produce a pilot batch of 20 wagons. Ten of them were sold to the Transco Transport Group Limited Liability Company of the Russian Federation. In January of the following year, an agreement was signed with this company on the supply of ten more wagons. In addition, an agreement was signed with the neighboring company Izotrans on the production of 60 modern wagons. To date, 20 wagons have been manufactured in the amount of 803 million tenge and delivered to the customer on time. And at the beginning of this year, the Limited Liability Partnership "Cool infinity", in order to increase production volumes, decided to acquire a production building with an area of 30.4 thousand square meters in Petropavlovsk Heavy Machinery Plant JSC. Currently, repair work is underway at this place, after completion the building will be equipped with the necessary equipment and a railway route will be built. In August, the company received the necessary technical documentation for the production of thermos wagons and received the necessary certificate in accordance with the requirements of the Eurasian Economic Union. After the completion of the reconstruction and repair of the building, it is planned to create an additional 500 jobs in order to increase production capacity. After the completion of the preparatory work, the company plans to produce 1.5 thousand thermos wagons per year. As noted by Valentin Kargin, CEO of the Cool Infinity Engineering Corporation, this thermos car will allow you to maintain the necessary temperature when transporting goods over a distance of up to 2.5 thousand kilometers. – New wagons in the transport sector can compete with road transport. It is possible to deliver food products at a distance of up to 6 thousand kilometers. Up to 58 tons of cargo can be transported in one thermos car with an area of 145 cubic meters," said Valentin Kargin, noting that the service life of the car is 25 years. According to the director of the company, the demand for new wagons from the Russian Federation and local transport companies is currently growing. In addition, product manufacturers can use the capabilities of modern products to carry out their own transportation. Stanislav Stankevich, Deputy General Director for Development of Refservice JSC, who is a major operator of specialized railway rolling stock in Russia and CIS countries for the transportation of goods requiring temperature control, expressed the opinion in an interview with Russian media that modern wagons produced in the North Kazakhstan region will be in great demand in the market in the future. Replenishment of the special rolling stock fleet with new cars will be carried out by removing old cars.

Available for domestic companies

Undoubtedly, modern products will become available for local enterprises as well. One of the first companies that ordered and evaluated the effectiveness of the use of insulated thermos wagons was the Limited Liability Partnership "Oil - Del". The company, which has been working for more than twenty years in the direction of providing quality products to all regions of the country, Near and far abroad, can produce up to 150 thousand tons of products per year. The team, which employs more than 2000 people, has more than 100 types of products. Among them, the products used daily are the most in demand: butter and vegetable oil, margarine, mayonnaise, milk and others. According to the plan for the development of the international market, as well as for the implementation of export development, Oil-Del LLP has opened representative offices in Russia, Kyrgyzstan in Bishkek, China Urumqi. Today, the company exports its products to countries such as China, Afghanistan, Estonia, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan. Currently, a number of measures have been taken to develop partnerships with large liquidation companies of the Near and far abroad. Therefore, Cool infinity LLP has ordered 10 new thermos wagons to easily export perishable products such as milk, mayonnaise, ketchup. Valentin Kargin, director of Cool infinity, said that five sets of modern products will be delivered to Maslo-Del LLP, the rest are ready and will be shipped in the near future. According to Natalia Solokhina, director of the branch of Oil-Del LLP, part of the order has already been received. – Since we haven't had time to use the cars yet, we can't give him a description or tell him about the disadvantages and advantages. A number of our products should be cold, some should be warm, and they should be stored at moderate temperatures. The requirements are different. Therefore, we will carry out the necessary tests in the near future, check their compliance with the requirements and use them as a result," Natalia Nikolaevna said.

There are no competitors

If you look at the production of thermos wagons, then in the CIS countries in 2010, the Ukrainian Azovmash plant planned to produce such wagons. However, production has stopped. This was due to the fact that the railways of the CIS and Baltic countries stopped transporting perishable goods. The execution of this task is assigned to freight transport. Then the company found itself in a difficult situation and even stopped its activities. According to last year's information, the plant was declared bankrupt with confiscation of property for debts. Today, German-made equipment is widely used. Almost 30 years have passed since entering the market. That is, the equipment is completely worn out. Therefore, the demand from the Russian Federation for products manufactured in our region is very high. In a word, there are no competitors. However, do not forget that there is no competition, but about the quality of products. The management of the company, which undertook a new project, paid special attention to the elimination of defects in the new product for the high-quality transportation of perishable goods. As part of the project, the planned activities will be successfully completed, and modern products will be in demand on the market in the future.
